For years men have had merely two options when it comes to a beach showdown: trunks, and board shorts. The sexier the men’s swimwear gets the more issues about gender and morality would spark. 1. Bandeau bikini – A bandeau bikini top for women is just as snug as a bandeau bikini for men. This is one of the latest in men’s tight-fitting trunks filled with great details and made to fit comfortably. It’s sexy but it’s not too revealing so it leaves much room for the imagination. A bandeau bikini is perfect for the beach, pool parties, and other hot summer gatherings and activities.
2. Comic book bikini – Everyone wants to leave a fashion statement. And that’s why statement shirts are more popular than ever. The same goes with men’s comic book bikinis. They’re form-fitting trunks made with great elastic material and filled with attractive colors and fun comic-like prints.  Each comic book bikini is very unique and enticing. It’s sexy and it says a lot of a man.
3. Swimwear short – A swimwear short is more like your typical trunks rather than board shorts. It’s tight, and a bit longer (upper thigh length).  Swimwear shorts are made of nylon and elastane, and they give men much freedom to move. Although it’s less revealing it’s still very attractive and it’s filled with stylish details and functional pockets. A swimwear short is great for beach sports, snorkelling, surf training, and more.
4. Metallic boxers – Dolce & Gabanna has specifically made boxers/swimwear in attractive metallic shades for spring. Animal prints – While animal prints are very much in for women’s clothes and swimsuits, Roberto Cavalli has also designed a line of men’s swimwear in bold, colourful, and amazingly attractive trunks, both bikini and boy leg. They’re great for sun bathing, pool parties, and as a teaser for your summer fling.

So you think women are the only ones who need a real cover up? Think again. Men need just as much of a facial fix as they do, only with a lot less color. Like women, men also need to take care of their skin. Becoming more aware of good grooming and personal hygiene do not mean less manhood.  A lot of males, and not just celebrities, already make this a routine. Whether you’re out on a date, going to work, or attending important events, make sure you have these to put on for a better and brighter look…

1. Moisturizer – Men, no matter how much less of a worrier they are compared to women, are also prone to premature aging and unwanted wrinkles because of the sun and other environmental pollutants. Besides that, they too can have really dry skin. So it is advisable to put on some moisturizer with sun protection factor (SPF) to keep the face moisturized and protected all day long.  A handsome face is never handsome enough unless it’s crack-free.
2. Concealer – A lot of men resist using this product because they might be referred to as cake-boy. But it’s really no big deal if you apply a bit on certain blemishes to keep the skin tone even. Whether it’s an old zit, dark under-eye circles or other impurities, concealers are there to give you a quick fix.
3. Chap stick – Men with red luscious lips can be so alluring. But putting red lipstick on during a date would be really wrong. Your lips might look darker than your partner’s and you’d end up looking like girlfriends instead. Good thing there are lip balms in cherry and strawberry flavour. If you put on a bit on your lips you’ll get the right natural hue that leaves you kissable yet masculine at the same time. If you opt for a natural look go for the flavor-less ones. Keeping your lips moisturized is also very important.
4. Face powder – Using this application can be a bit tricky. If you use too much or the wrong shade, you’ll definitely suffer from doubtful stares. Face powders are often used by women to even up the skin tone and as secondary make up base next to a foundation cream. In the case of men, face powder is used to cover up oily skin and make the skin look even. Apply minimal amount on occasions where you really need to look gorgeous for hours. Choose the natural shade or the duller ones to avoid looking like a girl and to achieve a natural look.
5. Night cream – The skin is under so much stress all day. Other than cleaning and exfoliating the face, you need to put on some facial cream that helps tone the skin and rejuvenate the skin cells.  Night creams also have a way of infusing minerals onto the skin that remove the impurities. So you get to sleep well and wake up the following the day with better skin. Some night creams also come with day creams that you can use in the morning together with you moisturizer to protect your face all throughout the day.

First off, make sure you have the necessary tools. Most men just slap on shaving cream with their hands. That works, but once you use a shaving brush, you’ll never go back. Many swear by badger hair as being the best brush a man can get. The Vulfix Pure Badger Shaving Brush is a high quality brush at a relatively low price. The brush will produce a rich lather far superior to just using your hands. Now, you’ll need a shaving cream that complements the brush. Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel is a good shaving cream, although probably not the best. MSNBC had a story about the perfect shave a few years back. The contributor, Corey Greenberg recommended Trumper’s Violet Soft Shaving Cream along with Trumper’s Limes Skin Food after-shave. I haven’t tried these creams yet myself, but I assure you, I will. I planned on asking for these as gifts for Christmas. Wouldn’t you guess, the first time a man knows what he wants for Christmas, is the moment everyone decides that it will be the first year they don’t ask you what you want!

Most importantly, find a good razor that fits your needs. If you’re still using a Gillette Sensor, it’s really time to move on. I recommend the Gillette Fusion Power if you’re going to be using a multi-blade razor. It will make a world of difference. For a similar shave at a lower cost, try the Gillette Mach 3. However, if you’re interested in experimenting, and finding a long lost secret of man (so they say), try the Merkur Futur Adjustable Double Edge Safety Razor. Then let me know how it went . Shaving gurus insist that if you take the time to learn how to shave with this razor, you’ll have the smoothest, cleanest, least-irritating shave that you’ve ever experienced. There’s a reason for the learning curve. If you’re use to the multi-blade razors of today, you’re probably use to quick strokes that glide with the curves of your face. The ease-of-use of these razors has led men to push the blade against the skin, hoping for the closest shave. DE razors on the other hand, require technique. You’ll need to learn how to gently swivel the blade across your face, and break the habit of pushing the blade against your skin. This should come naturally after a dozen or so shaves with the razor. DE safety razors are especially good for men that can’t seem to get rid of shaving bumps. Although the Merkur razor is more expensive than a Gillette Fusion, the blades are actually cheaper. Since a Merkur is one that will last a life-time, eventually it pays for itself. After you’ve found what products work best for you, there’s still the actual technique of shaving:

Shower & Cleanse: Cleaning your hands and face will help to prevent infections. Steam from a hot shower will open your pores, causing whiskers to rise. Try shaving while in the shower. If you shave after your shower, be sure to keep your face wet at all times.

Apply a Quality Cream With a Quality Brush: Aim for a nice even lather. Using a brush will provide a whole new experience in the world of shaving. Shaving cream is just as important. Don’t use too much though. An excessive amount of foam will actually cause more irritation. The blade glides easier on a thin layer of cream. A good brush and cream will help to control the lather.

Shave Smart:

1. Minimize strokes; try not to shave repeatedly with short strokes in the same area.

2. Shave with the grain; even though shaving against the grain can sometimes give you a closer shave, it can also cause razor burn, and ingrown hairs. If you choose to shave against the grain, shave a second time, after you’ve removed most of the hair going with the grain. In certain areas on your face, especially the curves, you may need to pull, and tighten the skin carefully, to get a closer shave.

3. Rinse the razor after each stroke to prevent clogging.

4. If you missed a spot, re-apply cream before going back over it with the razor.

Rinse: Use cold water to close pores and soothe the skin.

Dry Face: Pat (don’t rub) your face dry with a soft towel.

Apply After-Shave: Use a toner without alcohol and/or a moisturizer.
